Strategy estimates $20.9B Q3 digital-asset gain, buys 334 BTC and repurchases STRC; Strive adds 2,000 BTC
Strategy said it bought 334 BTC for $28.7 million at an average price of $85,839 between October 1 and 4, bringing its holdings to 848,000 BTC. The company said it funded the purchase with $15.7 million from MSTR share sales and $13 million in cash [1] [2].
Strategy also repurchased about $176.3 million of STRC shares between September 28 and October 4; Cointelegraph reported the buyback covered about 1.77 million shares. The company estimated a $20.91 billion gain on digital assets for Q3 and valued its bitcoin holdings at $70.82 billion as of September 30 [1] [3].
Separately, Strive said it acquired 2,000 BTC for about $169 million at an average price of $84,422, bringing its total holdings to 29,462 BTC [4].
