U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of about $159.5M as Ether and XRP ETFs logged outflows

On Sept. 17, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of about $159.45 million, according to SoSoValue data cited by Bitcoin Sistemi, with BlackRock’s IBIT receiving a net inflow of $183.66 million and Fidelity’s FBTC and VanEck’s HODL reporting net outflows of $16.64 million and $7.57 million, respectively ^[1].

CoinoMedia also reported that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $159 million in net inflows on Sept. 17, and said IBIT was the only Bitcoin ETF reporting net inflows that day, while Ethereum ETFs lost $39.24 million and extended an outflow streak to three days ^[2].

CoinDesk reported that Ether and XRP ETFs posted outflows while bitcoin moved above $77,000, adding that Ether funds shed money for a third straight session even as the token rose ^[3].

Yellow reported that U.S. spot XRP funds had $5.15 million in net outflows on Sept. 17, reversing the prior session’s gain, and that 21Shares was behind most of the exit, while it also said Bitcoin funds drew about $159 million and Ether funds lost money for a third straight session ^[4].
