JPMorgan is bringing its dollar deposit token to Ethereum for approved institutional clients
JPMorgan is expanding its dollar-denominated JPM Coin deposit token to Ethereum for institutional clients, according to reports citing the bank’s announcement. The token represents client deposits at JPMorgan and is intended to support payments and settlement of tokenized-asset transactions [1] [2] [3].
The token remains limited to approved counterparties, The Defiant reported. JPMorgan’s offering is also described as enabling round-the-clock payments that settle in seconds [4] [1].
