XRP Ledger Batch V1.1 amendment nears activation as 11 security bugs are fixed and votes approach threshold
XRP Ledger’s Batch V1.1 amendment is one validator vote away from starting its activation countdown after 27 of 35 trusted validators backed the change, which is short of the 80% support threshold reported as required to begin the process [1] [2].
crypto.news reported that the amendment was within one validator vote of starting a two-week activation process after developers fixed 11 bugs identified during security reviews, with RippleX describing the latest review of Batch V1.1 following those fixes [3].
Batch V1.1 would allow users to bundle up to eight linked transactions into one operation and is described as using an all-or-nothing approach to avoid partial completion [1] [4].
Coindoo also reported that the first Batch version never activated [4].
