Payward receives full VARA approval for Kraken’s planned UAE services, including AED trading
Kraken parent company Payward received full market approval from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), clearing the final licensing step for its planned UAE launch. The approval builds on preliminary approval granted in May [1] [2] [3].
The planned rollout includes dirham deposits and withdrawals, AED trading pairs, staking and xStocks, with the license covering retail customers. Payward has also been reported to plan services for professional and institutional clients, including institutional over-the-counter spot trading and Kraken Prime access [4] [1] [3].
