Bitget proposes acquiring Thailand’s GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics, pending regulatory approval
Bitget announced a planned acquisition of GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a Bangkok-based digital asset exchange and brokerage. The deal would give Bitget a route into Thailand through a locally licensed operator, according to reporting on the proposal [1] [2] [3].
The proposed transaction would be made through BTGT Management (Thailand) Ltd.; GMO Internet, its Thai subsidiary and other sellers are expected to transfer their full shareholdings to BTGT Management or its designee. The deal remains subject to regulatory approval, and reported coverage did not disclose its financial terms [2] [3] [4].
